Saturday School for the Disciples is located in Salem, MA at 28 St. Peter St.
The school operates under the auspices of the Kościuszko Polish Language Foundation. It has its own anthem, an internal school ceremony, and a school banner featuring the school's patron saint. Important ceremonies, such as the inauguration of first-graders, the farewell of graduates, national celebrations such as Independence Day and Constitution Day, religious celebrations such as the Nativity Play, and others, are incorporated into its regular schedule.
A recitation competition is held annually. We invite all children to learn Polish, to whom we open our doors wide. Our educators and teachers are here for you and will be happy to share their experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm. The school boasts a long tradition. In addition to language, we share the children's rich cultural heritage, teaching them the history and geography of Poland. Our curriculum includes subjects such as singing and drawing, and we have a children's choir. We organize special events and fun activities.
Parents, friends and supporters of our school – please share information about our school with your loved ones, relatives, acquaintances and friends and encourage them to do the same.
The school holds classes on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. We have age-appropriate classes, from preschool to all grades of primary school. We accept children from age 3. Let's remember that what our homeland will become, the land of our ancestors, parents, and loved ones – Poland – also depends on us, the Polish community abroad. What we pass on to our children, they will pass on to theirs.
This memory, culture, and tradition must live on forever. We will be grateful for every expression of interest and support, both spiritual, material, and financial. The reward for our shared efforts will be the most precious reward – the children's joy and the knowledge they have the opportunity to receive.
